tv series full house cast

Stamos hasn't stopped since Full House, nabbing a number of films and TV shows, most notably in ER, on which he starred for four years. He had featured spots in Glee, Scream Queens, Grandfathered and You, and starred on Big Shot from 2021 to 2022. The actor also authored his first memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, which will be released in October 2023. John Stamos's character was originally named Jesse Cochran; Stamos reportedly wanted his character to better reflect his Greek heritage, so producers decided to change the character's surname to Katsopolis (beginning with season two). Jay Duplass and Kelvin Yu are the latest additions to the cast of FX‘s limited series adaptation of “Dying for Sex,” Variety has learned exclusively.

Bob Saget (Danny Tanner)

Faces various challenges as she grows up and navigates teenage life. She is often known to be a poor student in school, and had copied D.J.'s homework during most of the early seasons. Becky gives birth to twin boys Nicholas and Alexander on Michelle's fifth birthday in part two of the season five episode "Happy Birthday, Babies". She and Jesse name Alexander after a teacher who inspired her to become a journalist and Nicholas after Jesse's father. Becky is offered a producer role on Wake Up, San Francisco in the season eight episode "The Producer", which results in Danny briefly quitting the show due to him being passed over for such a promotion. Jesse moves into the house with virtually no experience in taking care of young children or babies, but learns the ropes along the way. He was only going to be here temporarily but ended up staying full time.

Recurring characters

A slightly late addition to the "Full House" party, Lori Loughlin first appeared in the show's second season. Andrea Barber was known for playing the goofy neighbor girl, Kimmy Gibbler, in "Full House," which is one of only 15 roles she's credited with playing. Known for his singing talent in "Full House," Stamos appeared in a handful of high-profile Broadway productions before recently appearing in the hit Netflix Drama "You." Mary-Kate's divorce from husband Olivier Sarkozy was recently revealed, with Mary-Kate requesting an emergency filing for the divorce because New York courts are currently only accepting emergency divorce filings due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Danny Tanner

Lori Loughlin plays the dual roles of Rebecca Donaldson and Rebecca Katsopolis. Rebecca Donaldson is initially introduced as Danny Tanner's co-host on their morning talk show, and later develops a romantic relationship with Jesse Katsopolis. Rebecca Katsopolis becomes Jesse's wife and a member of the Tanner family. Rebecca is portrayed as a strong, independent woman who balances her career with her family life. Is depicted as a responsible and caring individual who often takes on a motherly role in the absence of her own mother.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters Lara, Aubrey and Jennifer from his first marriage to Sherri Kramer. Stamos did not slow down after Full House ended as he went on to star in ER, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, Grandfathered, Scream Queens, and You before reprising his role in Fuller House. John Phillip Stamos played the role of Jesse Katsopolis. Ashley and Mary-Kate were one of the only original cast members to not reprise their roles in Fuller House. Candace hosted seasons 19 and 20 of The View from 2015 to 2016. After her Full House days were over, Cameron Bure continued acting and went on to become one of the biggest names in Hallmark history, starring in almost 30 films with the franchise.

Jackson has shown to be a good older brother to Max and Tommy. Jackson likes to do stunts, and joins the football team to impress Ramona's friend, Lola. He likes to call himself "J. Money" and "Action Jackson". He briefly dates Lola, but she breaks up with him for being too clingy. In the third season, when flying to Japan to attend Steve and C.J.'s wedding, D.J.

Jodie Sweetin hit a bit of a rough patch following her time on "Full House." The actress, now 39 began drinking alcohol as a teen, just after the show ended, which led to heavy drug use for many years. Sweetin detailed her drug addiction and journey to sobriety in her 2009 book "unSweetined." The iconic sitcom followed three grown men raising three young women after the passing of the Tanner family's matriarch. Despite its popularity, the show became too expensive to produce with an average of $1.3million per episode, due to rising producer fees and cast salaries, there was simply not enough return for ABC to keep the show running. Things started to change during the 90s as shows like Friends, Seinfeld, and Frasier were on the rise and family centered sitcoms were on the way out.

However, their relationship changes to long-distance when Vicky is assigned reporting jobs away from San Francisco. In season seven's "The Perfect Couple," Vicky ends up getting her dream job of anchoring the network news in New York City, but a long-distance relationship does not work for either of them. Danny decides to break up with her, leading him to a mass feng shui habit in the next episode, "Is It True About Stephanie?," which his family acknowledges is his way of trying to cope with his breakup. Danny eventually meets fellow single parent Claire Mahan in season eight episode "Making Out Is Hard to Do," and tney go on a date in the episode "Claire and Present Danger."

Two years later, he competed on Skating With Celebrities. However, the same year, Stamos was also able to show off his funny side again, this time starring in the sitcom Grandfathered with Mary-Kate Olsen's co-star from The Wackness, Josh Peck. Unfortunately, the show was canceled after just one season. Currently, Stamos is producing and appearing on Fuller House. As for the cast's upcoming reunion, the Full House stars won't be the only one bringing the nostalgia, as other fan favorite cast ensembles are set to join, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Hocus Pocus and more. And as Dave himself puts it, this reunion will be one for the books since the cast are more than just co-stars—after all these years, they're practically family.

At school when Danny was wrestling Steve in “Lovers And Other Tanners” and also running away a second time when he told her he wouldn’t lend her his car keys to go see Viper causing her to go in Kimmy’s car in “On The Road Again”. Entered into middle school, she started to deal with issues like puberty and dating. She leads Stephanie into dangerous or not-so-smart situations. Stephanie gets involved in a few wild, irresponsible things because of Gia, such as going to a make-out party planned by her in the season eight episode "Making Out is Hard to Do", and (almost) smoking in "Fast Friends".

The childhood best friend of Danny, Joey tried to be a stand-up comedian. His act included imitations of cartoon characters like Popeye and Pepe LePew. Joey started off sleeping in Danny's living room but eventually ended up in the basement garage. Kathy Santoni (portrayed by Anne Marie McEvoy) is a classmate of D.J.'s.

Show creator and executive producer Jeff Franklin was the only writer to remain with the series throughout its entire eight-season run (Franklin also wrote and directed several episodes during the first five seasons). Although the series was set in San Francisco, the sitcom itself was taped at the Warner Bros. Outside of certain excerpts in the opening title sequences, including Alamo Square Park's Painted Ladies, the only episode to have actually been taped in San Francisco was the first episode of season eight, "Comet's Excellent Adventure".

She later makes another appearance in the series finale where she attends the triple wedding and both she and Danny agree that they are glad to have stayed friends after all these years. Teddy (portrayed by Tahj Mowry) is Michelle's best friend. He first appeared in the season five premiere "Double Trouble," when Michelle meets him on their first day of kindergarten following the advice that Joey told Michelle that the best way to make new friends was by being funny, and does a Bullwinkle impression. He accompanies her when she needs a "date" to sneak out and join Danny on a date with Vicky in the season five episode "Bachelor of the Month". He is also the one whose house Michelle runs away to in "The Devil Made Me Do It" later that season (Tahj Mowry's real-life sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry appear in that episode in a dual role as Teddy's older sister). He moves to Amarillo, Texas in the season six episode "The Long Goodbye".
