They violate Hipaa by giving your info to any other company that inquires but refuse to give you information about your equipment without a signed form from you allowing them to disclose information about yourself to yourself. Which is also a Hipaa violation in not disclosing to authorized people. Greedy companies like this are why healthcare costs are out of control. She was great at her job when she was here and was very kind. However, there was a massive problem with communication in this company. I have not seen my nurse in 5 days, and no one communicated to me when my visits were or how long these services would be going on.
This is something that should be covered from day one when working with clients who are paying you, especially when the prices are high and my visits lasted at most five minutes. I require daily care and was never told when the next time I would be seen until five days later, five days of taking my care into my own hands. My biggest problem was with the management.
